Beautiful Lac Du Flambeau Trail

There are a number of quiet road routes around the community of Lac Du Flambeau. Two very scenic rides start in downtown Lac Du Flambeau and wind through the surrounding lake country. The first loop is around Flambeau Lake, a deep, clear lake. Much of the ride follows the shore of the lake, providing many wonderful views. The second loop is around Lake Pokegama and provides views of several different area lakes—it’s the sort of scenery you usually only see on postcards. From Lac Du Flambeau, there are many lightly-traveled roads that will take you to nearby Boulder Junction, Manitowish Waters, and Price County as well as many other excellent trails.
